The organization’s guiding principles are:

    • To widen and strengthen citizen participation.
    • To demand transparency and accountability from governmental institutions.
    • To contribute for the fulfilment of the rule of law.
    • To promote substantive equality.
    • To work for the respect of human rights.

Our work is based on an integral conception of human rights, the recognition of the need to incorporate and explicitly promote a gender perspective, citizen participation, and social justice. These principles are complemented with concrete efforts to find creative solutions to the problems that the country faces and to formulate policy recommendations that stem from solid and interdisciplinary research.
