THE PUBLIC BUDGET TEAM GROWS STRONGER

Thanks to the support of the Hewlett Foundation, we have been able to strengthen the specialized team in budget topics, in order to improve the technical and analytical capacities of three important areas: analysis of the income policy and fiscal policy; the analysis of public policies, and the work of the State Index of Budget Transparency (IETP).

Therefore, we warmly welcome the researchers:

LILIANA ALVARADO BAENA. Researcher on fiscal policy. She has a wide experience in tributary policy, product of her work at the Mexico’s Department of the Treasury.

LORENA DÍAZ LOYOLA. Researcher on public policies. She was part of the coordination of advisors of the Public Education secretary, specializing in the design of public policies.

In turn, the State Index of Budget Transparency consolidates itself with the incorporation of:

VERA SISNIEGA ASPE. Researcher of the IETP. She is an outstanding researcher and a committed activist in Morelos.

EMILIANO LEÓN CRUZ. Associated researcher of the IETP Project. He is a Mathematics student at the UNAM and won the first place of the 14th Mexican Olympics of Mathematics.

We are convinced that with their talent we will have results that will help fortifying the institution and the civil society for Mexico’s democratic transformation.
