Dear friends,

The bulletin that you have in your hands (and on your screens) seeks to inform, share and summon, it is a sample of Fundar Center of Analysis and Research’s commitment, because it accounts for the activities that we do to consolidate democracy.
Hence, in the first place, the bulletin seeks to inform: keep you posted with the institution’s activities; of each one of the projects’; of the most important novelties and the main achievements. Second, its goal is to share: present our research work to you, our linkage and influence activities, and our insistence on creating, day by day, better conditions for making democracy and accountability effective.
Third, its intention is to summon: inform you about efforts in which we invite you to participate, their reach concerns us all. In Fundar we are fully conscious that making accountability come true will take time, besides wide avenues of collaboration. For consolidating democracy the concurrence of interests and the junction of efforts are indispensable, so then this bulletin also represents our bet for making collaboration a method. Here you will periodically find news which, we believe, may be of your interest; efforts with goals that you probably share; and achievements that are as much yours as ours.
The bulletin is the first of a series of efforts to get closer to our counterparties and friends. It will be edited each month and you are more than welcome to share your own experiences and thoughts with us. Don’t hesitate to also access our web page at www.fundar.org.mx. The site is being renovated and you will soon be able to access more information and specialized bulletins on budget issues and legislative monitoring. Finally, on behalf of Fundar I appreciate your interest, your attention and your time. We hope this information is useful. I am always available for you. You may write anytime with questions and comments to my personal e-mail, at jorge@fundar.org.mx. I will be waiting.
